Help Centers of Justice and Mercy

Bread of Life Ministries (BOLM)– Volunteer at the soup kitchen or office; assist with driving, plowing, maintenance and carpentry projects; coordinate fund-raising events; or serve as an intern.

Preble Street– Apply to volunteer at the soup kitchen, food pantry, clothes closet, Logan place, at special events, or other services of the center.  Or, consider making in-kind donations.

Seeds of Hope Neighborhood Center– Become a trained volunteer to help at the drop-in center or other services of the center.

The Root Cellar– Apply to be a volunteer at the Portland or Lewiston campus.  While they both need volunteers for their regular programs, they also each have a list of specific volunteer jobs listed on their websites.

Trinity Jubilee Center– Consider taking on one of these opportunities to volunteer, advocate, or donate at this center.

Catholic Charities Maine– Consider applying to volunteer with one of the abundant services this center provides.

Maine Equal Justice Partners– Fill out this form if you’re interested in becoming involved with this center’s work.
