Regional Centers of Justice and Mercy

Bread of Life Ministries (BOLM)– This Center of Justice and Mercy located in Augusta, Maine is a nonprofit, interdenominational Christian charitable ministry.  They offer a soup kitchen, homeless shelter, transitional housing, permanent housing, and a resource center.

Preble Street– This Center of Justice and Mercy located in Portland, Maine seeks to provide accessible services to empower people experiencing problems with homelessness, housing, hunger, and poverty, and to advocate for solutions to these problems.  They offer drop-in centers, soup kitchens, a food pantry, shelters, social work services, supported housing, and other services.

Seeds of Hope Neighborhood Center– This Center of Justice and Mercy located in Biddeford, Maine strives to offer hope for those who are struggling, care for those in need, advocacy for those who have been silenced, companionship for those who are alone and compassionate love for all.  They offer a drop-in center, an essential’s pantry, a health education and support program, a career resource center, and other services.

The Root Cellar– This Center of Justice and Mercy has campuses in Portland and Lewiston, Maine.  They seek to create a community of love that transforms their neighbors, volunteers and financial partners.  Between the two campuses they offer ESL tutoring, citizenship classes, medical and dental clinics, food and clothing distribution, bible studies, job consultation, and other services.

Trinity Jubilee Center–  This Center of Justice and Mercy located in Lewiston addresses the unmet needs of the area’s underserved people through collaboration with local, state, and federal organizations, as well as other agencies and churches. They meet these needs through offering services, such as, a meals program, food pantry, outreach, a warming center, and refugee outreach.
